High horsepower applications can benefit from the increased clamping force generated by the higher line pressures of TCI Mega-pressure boost valves. Depending on the pressure regulator spring that is used these valves will generate a maximum line pressure between 275 and 300 psi. The TV boost valve increases pressure in the drive and overdrive ranges, while the low/reverse boost valve raises pressures in the manual first and second ranges.
