The Quick Time RM-6023 bellhousing connects a small-block or big-block Chevy engine to a GM T56, T-56 Magnum, or T-56 Magnum XL transmission. This bellhousing is S.F.I. 6.1 certified which is required by many sanctioning bodies for cars running 11.49 or faster in the quarter mile. This bellhousing is a universal fit bellhousing and is not vehicle specific. The Quick Time bellhousings are produced using a unique spin-forming process which results in a very high-strength material. This high material strength allows the Quick Time bellhousings to be lightweight while maintaining the protection you desire. Note: (Transmission Mounting Bolts Not Included)

Designed for Hydraulic Release Bearing only and we recommend Hays #82-120 or Holley #319-100. They use the same base part, but the Hays comes with AN fittings for the pressure and bleed ports.

OEM starters are recommended for ease of fitment. It is very important that the tooth count (153 or 168) of the starter match the tooth count of the flywheel to ensure proper engagement. Two primary options: a 12 3/4-inch flywheel (153 teeth) where the nose cone will have two attachment bolt holes across from each other (inline) and a 14-inch flywheel (168 teeth) where the attachment bolt holes will be offset (diagonal). This applies mainly to factory GM starters on passenger cars/light trucks and does not apply to later model versions (w/ gear reduction) or aftermarket and mini starters. Be sure to match your clutch to your flywheel as well.
