GM Performance LSX 454 long block crate engines are built with an all-forged, super-tough rotating assembly and feature a pair of new deep-breathing LSX 6-bolt cylinder heads. They also come dressed with great looking, all-new orange powdercoated valve covers with an engraved LSX 454 logo. With a carburetor and high-flow GM Performance intake manifold (sold separately), these engines are good for about 627 hp and 586 lbs.-ft. of torque. Due to the number of application variations, the LSX 454 crate engines do not include an oil pan, and the valve covers do not include provisions for mounting the ignition coil brackets.
