The Tundra Series Universal 40-Plate Transmission Oil Cooler keeps oil temperatures right where they need to be for optimum performance. Featuring a stacked plate and fin design, which is more efficient than same sized tube and fin coolers, they are constructed with durable aluminum, and powdercoated with a black finish to withstands corrosion. They are finished with the State-of-the-Art PROFORM brazing process that protects from leaks and cracks. But just to make sure, we pressure test them for deformities at 175PSI, while complete failure is not reached until 600PSI. To ensure no to make sure no bubbles or mini-leaks are present, we further underwater test at 80PSI. Installation is easily configurable to most setups with multiple mounting points to choose from on the flush mounting plates. Uniquely engineered louvered fins provide maximum cooling surface area in a compact 2-inch thick, 11.5-inch wide footprint, while minimizing negative air flow resistance for some significant cooling potential!
