TransGo automatic transmission TFSC SHIFT KIT Valve Body Repair Kits (P/N SKTFSC) fit 1960 and newer Chrysler, Dodge Plymouth, AMC, and Jeep vehicles with both small case 3-speed transmissions (such as the A904, A998, A999, TF6 and 30RH), as well as big case 3-speed transmissions (such as the A727, TF8, 36RH and 37RH) with or without lock-up. Common complaints on these transmission are soft shifts, loss of power on launch, pump bushing burn-up, TC clutch failure, stalls in reverse when hot, converter hub failure, and torque converter drain-back.

* Features and benefits: The Shift Kit includes valve body components and modifications designed to deliver short smooth shifts and a better TC clutch apply. There are several innovative components in this kit. For instance, the line-to-converter feed system which helps the unit run cooler and promotes longer TC clutch life. Also included is a TransGo pioneered manual valve to reduce overnight forward and reverse delayed engagement complaints due to torque converter drain-back. Lastly, the kit can be installed with the transmission in the truck.
