Using the latest developments in drivetrain technology, TCI has developed an innovative automatic transmission for Pro Touring and Street Performance vehicles. Designed for GM LS Engine applications, this 4L60E-based TCI 4x Four-Speed Automatic Transmission is a fully programmable transmission that gives you four forward gears (3.06, 1.63, 1.00, 0.7) for quicker acceleration and increased fuel economy at cruising speeds. By utilizing the 4th gear overdrive ratio and having the ability to lock up the torque converter, you can have the best of both worlds. Use a high stall converter at launch then lock it up on the highway to bring those rpms down when you just want to cruise.

Capable of handling up to 500 ft lbs of torque, this versatile transmission from TCI features a compact design, allowing it to work in a variety of performance applications. When used with the EZ-TCU for shift point programming, this automatic transmission gives vehicles one of the most functional and modern drivetrain combination on the market. “EZ” is the key as you will have the ability to tune the transmission on the fly by using a very simple phone app for both Android and Apple.

To ensure durability, TCI runs each transmission across a computer-controlled transmission dyno to ensure proper line pressures and top-notch transmission performance. 

NOTE: TCI EZ-TCU transmission control unit and 4-speed automatic shifter (ratchet, gate or stock) recommended for standard automatic operation.

 

RTS Serious Stall Converters

RTS high stall torque converters are designed for serious-minded performance enthusiasts and offer additional strength and durability. The higher stall speeds of these converters will launch the car in a higher RPM range where more torque is readily available, resulting in quicker acceleration. They’re available for a variety of transmission makes and models. They are also available in a custom build model to suit any performance high horsepower application.

These RTS Black Premium Series Flexplate's are made for high performance street car drivetrains. RTS flexplate made specifically for our Holden Chevrolet LS and other popular performance cars. Each flexplate is dynamically balanced to eliminate potentially damaging vibrations and electro-coated black for protection from the elements.

Fits most LS-series Gen III and Gen IV Chev Holden Commodore, 6.0, 6.2 and 7.0 litre V8 engines using a 6 bolt crankshaft flange. Drilled for 10.75" small GM converter bolt pattern and also 11.062" (281mm) LS style converter bolt pattern. Includes a converter pilot adapter that is needed if you are using a converter originally made to fit older small or big block Chevy (non-LS). Flexplate is .035" thicker than stock and the starter ring is welded to both sides of the flexplate for additional strength. Constructed from a high tensile strength material this flexplate resists elongation and cracking.
