PROFORM's NEW addition to the line of Race Series Starters is designed to fit Oldsmobile and Pontiac V8 engines 1965-1982. This 1.4KW starter has a 14.0:1 compression ratio and a 4.41:1 gear reduction ratio, ideal for racing applications or engines with monster cubic inches or compression ratios. The torque generated from these starters will stand up to the challenge on race day! As with all starters PROFORM produces, these starters are 100% NEW, not rebuilt, for maximum longevity and optimum performance. After assembly, each starter is individually tested at the factory, so enthusiasts need not use their vehicle as a testing lab.
