We use either 2618 or 4032 grade aluminium alloy depending on the application and CNC machine each pin. Our team hand de-burrs each piston and machines ring grooves for low-drag, lightweight rings. Precision milling ensures maximum weight savings without sacrificing strength. With our utilisation of computer-aided solid modelling and state-of-the-art CNC machining centres, we stay ahead of the competition in design and manufacturing.

PPM Ultimate I-Beam Connecting Rod is designed for the applications where rod strength is the number one concern rated in excess of 400++HP per cylinder.

These Rods have all Factory Standard Sizing….

* 100% premium  4340 or 300M Material, (Both Materials Available)

* Strict forge and heat treatment processed forgings, hardness of 42+HR C.

* Aluminium/Silicon/Bronz alloy bushing

* 3D software re-designed critical C-bore area, special CNC machining ensure smooth connection and free of sharp edge, significantly improved strength

* Standard equipped with 7/16″ ARP2000

* Accurate sized and edge chamfered dowel sleeve for easy and accurate re-assembling.

* Sunnen hone solution for all big bore and pin bore finishing.

* Enlarged mating surface increase mating area strength significantly and grinded mating surface makes re-assembling job accurate and easy.

* Thread-end is blinded to same length as bolt

* Radial grooved bushing crates an oil reservoir within PE improving pin lubrication.

* Cap is designed thicker than beam to increase strength.
