Wilwood's newest pure heavy-duty race caliper, the D52-R starts with a lightweight 4.3-pound forged aluminum Type III hard anodized body with a stainless steel piston. Choose a width of 2.75” or 2.38” pistons, and rotor widths of 0.81”, 1.04” and 1.28" thick in common 11.75”, or 12.19”, and up to 12.50” diameters. Caliper fluid inlet port centered directly behind the piston eliminates any interference with slide pins. Lower deflection rate and higher volumetric efficiency than all the competitions’ heavier cast models, D52-R calipers also use standard D52 pads available in a range of compounds for every application. Caliper mounting uses the original GM stock height and offset. D52-R Caliper, also known as D52R Caliper, is the pinnacle design for OEM replacement racing calipers.
