TCI Permanent Magnet racing starters are engineered for racing and tight engine swaps where a smaller, lighter weight starter is desired. These are new, not rebuilt, starters that weigh almost 50 percent less than stock for less front-end pounds, and to provide extra room for headers and oil pans, as well as increased ground clearance. TCI Permanent Magnet racing starters are built with heavy-duty pinion bearings and a heavy-duty contact disc solenoid with 12 clocking positions for more consistent starts.
