Transmission & Bellhousing Kit TH400 to Ford 4.0L XR6 Barra

The TCI StreetFighter TH400 Transmission for Chevy engine applications is tough enough to withstand the rigors of the toughest street machines up to 600 ft lbs of torque with a non-supercharged system using pump gasoline. Equipped with a TCI manual/automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. This gives you racetrack shifts and shaves time off your ETs.

• Special clutches and bands increase durability; new sprags and roller clutches increase holding capacity.
• Improved lubrication system increases fluid sent to planetaries and internals.
• Includes a chrome-plated transmission pan with embossed TCI.
• Higher line pressure for extra firm shifts and greater torque capacity with less slippage.

SFI Bellousing

 

Using the latest casting technologies, RTS has come up with these aluminium bellhousings. These bellhousings are certified flexplate shields and allow for special motor and transmission combinations to be easily mated together. Manufactured from one-piece cast aluminium, these bellhousings are 5 times stronger than OEM designed bellhousings. They are capable of withstanding even the most severe tyre shake, and can fit under most floorboards, while meeting all SFI 30.1 requirements by going through their rigorous testing regime.

NOTE: Will not suit Reid gearboxes (requires machining).
