Saturn TAAT units may suffer from delayed engagements and loss of lockup. These conditions can be caused by bore wear in the converter limit valve and the converter charge control valve. Wear in either valve bore causes loss of TC pressure, which can also cause a high stall condition and even poor fuel economy. Recondition the bore and install Sonnax oversized converter limit or converter charge control valve kit 95200-08K to restore hydraulic integrity.
