In Jatco/Nissan JF010E (RE0F09A/RE0F09B) transmissions, the secondary pulley control valve regulates oil pressure in the secondary pulley circuit. Loss of pressure control may cause symptoms including chatter on acceleration, push belt slippage, surface fretting and metal contamination. Low pressure can disable the secondary pulley mechanism, freezing the primary/secondary pulley ratio.
Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized secondary pulley control valve kit 113741-17K can restore optimal pressure in the secondary pulley circuit
