Shorty headers are designed to help eliminate steering system and bell housing clearance issues associated with most long tube and Tri-Y headers. These headers feature extra-thick 3/8" flanges, 12 gauge 1 5/8" primary tubes, and a 2.25" ball and socket collector for ease of installation while providing a leak-free installation. Includes necessary mounting hardware and premium gaskets. For 1964 through 1970 Mustangs with 260, 289, or 302 engines. NOTE: 61964-1965 cars may require either 1966-1970 motor mounts and brackets or 1/4 inch spacers on stock mounts for proper clearance. 67-68 manual transmission cars will have to modify the clutch equalizer bar. These will not fit late model 302 "P" heads. EFI cars require C6TZ-9430-RCO2 Reducer Cones.
