One of the challenges classic Mustang owners encounter when converting to a late model 302 is what to do with the stock clutch linkage. The late model 302 doesn't have a provision on the block for a Z-bar pivot. Scott Drake now offers the perfect solution with this Z-bar pivot bracket. It allows the use of the factory clutch linkage in a classic Mustang eliminating the need to fabricate or reengineer the clutch mechanism. This bracket is CNC laser cut from thick steel plate and painted gloss black for lasting performance. It is designed to bolt to the back of the bell housing and accepts the factory pivot. If the factory pivot is not available, order the Scott Drake Z-bar pivot kit part number C5ZZ-7A531-K (sold separately). Also compatible with Classic Cougar, Falcon, Fairlane, Comet, Ranchero, and Bronco.
