A common issue with diesel boost gauges is that they can appear to emit a rattle or ticking sound. This is often caused by the boost hose acting as a stethoscope and amplifying pulses from the engine. You can quieten this by installing one of our Boost Gauge Dampeners as per the image below. Further improve gauge performance by using silicone vacuum hose as the pipe also acts as a dampener.
