Big Block Ford 429 - 460 Alternator Bracket
High mount 460 alternator bracket for Ford 460 Big Block or 429CJ. Fits engines from 1969 through 1997. Mounts alternator on USA passenger side. Please see notes below in order to select the correct pulleys for use with this high mount alternator bracket.
Alternator Only Applications:

Water Pump Pulley: BBFL1WP (or Stock 1 groove water pump pulley)
Crank Pulley: BBFL1CR (or stock 1 groove crank pulley)
Alternator Pulley: SBF1ALT

Power Steering Applications:

Water Pump Pulley: BBFL2WP
Crank Pulley: BBFL3CR (Groove Closest to Engine will be left empty)
Alternator Pulley: BBF2ALT

Air Conditioning and Power Steering Applications:
Do not use this Bracket. Our a high mount alternator bracket positions the alternator up high on the engine and it does not allow the alternator to move far enough towards the engine without hitting the cylinder head. This prevents the alternator pulley from aligning with the normal alternator groove in these applications. (The normal alternator groove is too close to the engine and the alternator will hit the cylinder head.)
