These swap headers allow enthusiasts to drop an LS engine into the ever popular 1955-1957 Chevy. These new headers were designed to fit only with a 605 box or stock steering setup. They are a true 1-7/8-inch long tube design to sufficiently maximize the torque and horsepower of the free breathing LS engines and constructed of 304 stainless steel.

  • Compatible with GM TH350, TH400, 700R4, 2004R, 4L60-4L70, 4L80E/4L85E, 8L90, 10L80/90, and 6L80/90 automatic transmissions and the OE LS 4th-gen F-body/GTO Tremec T56, TKX, and aftermarket T56 Magnum manual transmissions.

 

 

NOTE: Will not work with factory column shift linkage or Z bar. Aftermarket column linkage or cable kits such as those offered by Lokar™ and others will have to be used if you wish to maintain column shift capability of your vehicle. NOTE: Installation of the HOOKER Tri-5 headers will require the removal of the factory bell housing style rear engine mounts from the factory frame rails. NOTE: These headers are designed to clear OEM A/C, manual steering gear boxes, power steering boxes, and power brake boosters.
