GM Performance MAP sensors are high-quality, direct-fit replacements for worn or malfunctioning MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensors. These sensors accurately produce voltage or frequency as intake manifold pressure changes--and the computer uses this information to measure engine load so that the ignition timing can be advanced and retarded as needed. The MAP sensors are available to fit most GM engines, including the LS Series. They're built from factory-style materials and easily install in the stock location, so no modifications are necessary.
