This Stage 1 camshaft is the perfect entry level performance upgrade for your rectangle port LS engine (L98, LS3, L77, etc.). It's specifically designed for the daily driver who wants a noticeable increase in power and a tougher idle sound without sacrificing drivability or requiring expensive supporting modifications.

The low-lift design means it's safe to run with factory GM valve springs, making installation simpler and more affordable. While new performance springs are always a recommended upgrade for peace of mind, they are not a requirement for this specific cam profile.

This cam features a modern, smooth lobe profile with very low jerk. This advanced design is incredibly gentle on your valvetrain, reducing shock and wear on lifters, pushrods, and springs. The result is a quieter, more stable, and more durable valvetrain compared to cams with more aggressive, less sophisticated profiles.

Important Notes

A custom tune is required for the vehicle to run properly after installation.

For engines equipped with Active Fuel Management (AFM), a DOD Delete kit is mandatory. This applies to engines like the L76 and L77.

While designed for factory springs, we always recommend upgrading to a quality set of PAC or equivalent valve springs
